I’m always looking for new and exciting ideas for weddings, and I feel like there are so many out there.
I recently came across a post in one of my favorite wedding blogs: Green Wedding Shoes
Amongst many innovative and beautiful DIY ideas, this one photo caught my eye.
This couple used the food truck Mexicue to serve their guests during the reception. Now I know, before you tell me off and say ‘that’s tacky’… remember, food trucks are becoming luxurious these days.
I’ve heard of BBQs and pot lucks but food truck receptions are new to me, and I think they just might be a smashing success.
Would you use a food truck at your wedding?
I’m considering a food truck for my beach house reception in the Florida Keys. Since our wedding will be small (~30 people) and somewhat laid back, I think it could work well. I’m afraid some of our guests will see it as tacky, though, especially after seeing my future MIL’s reaction after telling her that we were thinking about it!
Thanks for the input Bethany! I wouldn’t be too worried about your future MIL. Do your research and show her the quality of the food food trucks can produce. I think people are not educated in how nice these food trucks can be.
Here is an article about food trucks I found in the Florida area: http://www.floridatravellife.com/articles/best-gourmet-food-trucks-florida
Good luck and I hope your wedding is beautiful and fun. Let us know how it goes
